Breeding bulls

Breeding bulls

In this section you will learn more about renting and exhibiting breeding bulls.

Rent a bull breeder

One of the benefits of cattle breeding is the ability to get your own young by mating your cows with bulls.

Cows and bulls cannot be mated until they are 61 days old and weigh 320 kg. (animals must meet both conditions).

Your cow should also be ready for mating and pregnancy. You'll know it's ready when the entire bar above the heart icon in the lower right corner of the cow image is filled with orange.

You can choose to mate any bull offered for lease at the State Farm based on its characteristics and rental price.

Don't forget that the weight of the future offspring will directly depend on the weight of its parents. The heavier the bull is at the moment of mating, the greater will be the weight of the born calf or heifer.

Exposing the bull breeder

Any resident of the Clone Earth with the status of "farmer" or higher can exhibit a bull breeder at the fair. A clone (and other clones from your account) must have a stamina rating of at least 0.

Your bull should be ready to mate, as indicated by the orange bar above the heart icon in the lower right corner of the bull image. You can exhibit a bull from the page "Business" → "Livestock" → "Cattle".

The seller will be charged a fee of 0.5% of the rental price when the lot is offered at the Fair. If you withdraw the lot, the commission is not refundable.

A commission of 4.5% of the rental price is charged upon the transaction.

Immediately after the bull is put on the fair, and after the moment of its production (once a day) the lot becomes unavailable for rent for a random period of time (from 5 to 30 minutes). After this period, the lot becomes available for rent again.

While at the State Farm, the bulls continue to feed and produce as usual.

Your State Farm Producers tab contains a list of your bulls for rent. Here you will be able to return the animal to the barn (cancel the lot).

After mating.

Mating takes place as soon as the cow owner pays the rent. Immediately after mating, the animals return to their cattle yards.

After mating, the producing bull will not be able to mate for 5 days and the cow will carry the litter for 26 days on an optimal feed ration.

If the feed ration is not optimal, the resting period of the producing bull as well as the period of pregnancy of the cow will increase proportionally.
