Primary resource

Resource production

The production of resources in their own enterprises is one of the advantages obtained in the development of the settlement. Four basic (primary) resources are available: wood, grains, stone, and iron.

How do enterprises produce resources?

To start producing resources, you not only need to develop a corresponding enterprise, but also to hire workers (or employ your own clones there). Each employee produces 1 unit of product per day at the enterprise where he works. The maximum number of jobs depends on the level of development of enterprises.

Products are produced by clone workers at the beginning of the work day, after which they are stored at the factory and available for redemption within 24 hours of their production. After this time, the old products become unavailable for redemption, and new products are produced.

The owner of the settlement can control the number of available jobs in each enterprise (and therefore the number of products produced) by setting the required value on the Base Resource → Primary Production page. The minimum number of employees can work at the enterprise, the maximum is determined by the current level of development of the enterprise.

Development of production enterprises (primary resource)

After building a settlement, you get to open 4 main production enterprises that produce various resources:

  • Sawmill (wood production).
  • Mill (cereal production).
  • Quarry (stone production).
  • Mine (iron production).

There are a total of 4 levels of each enterprise at each level of settlement development (i.e., 4 levels in the manor, 4 levels in the village, and so on). You can build and develop enterprises gradually, it is not necessary to open all the enterprises of the first level at once. The higher the level of development of each enterprise, the greater the number of clones that can work in it, and, accordingly, the more resources can be produced there. Remember that in order to increase the level of development of the settlement, it is necessary to maximize the development of all businesses at the current level.

The cost of developing each level of a particular enterprise depends on the level of development of the settlement.

After the construction of enterprises for the extraction of primary resources on them you can arrange a certain number of clones, which depends on the level of development of the settlement.

When you build the very first level of the enterprise, it has 10 places available for workers. If the level of the enterprise is further increased, jobs are not increased immediately, but are opened according to the general rules.

How can you dispose of the products produced?

When the products produced have become available at the plant, the owner of the settlement can buy them back. When you redeem the products, gold coins are deducted from the game account, and the products go into the inventory of the clone-owner of the settlement. The redemption price is set at the owner's discretion, but it cannot be lower than the nominal value of the resource (see the nominal price in the Trade Guild).

Depending on your business strategy, the settlement owner has three options:

  • Redeem the entire production (workers will be paid in gold coins).
  • Not to buy back the products produced in full (workers will be paid in the form of a resource).
  • Redeem the products produced only in part (workers will be paid in gold coins and resources in appropriate proportions).

You can redeem products manually - in whole or in part. You can also activate the automatic daily production redemption feature on each enterprise on the Investor → Urban Development → Basic Resource → Primary Production page so you don't have to worry about it on a daily basis. The automatic daily redemption function is triggered immediately after production and only if you have enough gold coins on your game account. In automatic mode, you can redeem only the entire resource produced, partial redemption is not possible.

In case the products at the enterprise are bought out completely, the number of places for employment at this enterprise will increase on the next day. If the production is not redeemed in full - the number of seats will be reduced. Full redemption is considered when the number of units redeemed equals the number of employees employed.

50% of the cost of gold coins for the redemption of production is automatically given to employees of the company as a salary. The remaining 50% goes to the state, which, in turn, pays it into various monetary funds.
