In this chapter you will learn about the sports characteristics of pigs, about training and competitions, and then you can try to raise a boar to be a real champion!
If you want to get a job as a trainer and train boars yourself, go to Business → Pig Racing → Boar Trainer
In addition to such basic indicators as sex, age and weight, each pig has several special characteristics that will affect the winning of boars in athletic races.
Table. Sporting characteristics of boars
|Feature||What affects||How to develop|
|Muscle mass||Acceleration when passing the obstacle-free section of the track||The minimum value is 10% of weight (10,000) and the maximum value is 70% of weight (70,000) After each training session the muscle mass is increased by 0.16% of the minimum muscle mass (by 16) Participation in a race also adds 0.16% of the minimum muscle mass to the boar. As the total weight of the animal is gained, the current value of muscle mass will decrease slightly, because the weight of the animal increases, and the volume of muscle mass without training it remains the same|
|Experience||Affects all characteristics except muscle mass. If during the run the value of the characteristic determining the speed of passing the obstacle is less than the value of Experience, then a random value of the characteristic in the range from C*C/E to E is taken (C - value of the characteristic, E - the value of Experience)||Developed by training any characteristic (agility, flair, jumping ability, stability, agility). 1 hour of any training gives +1 experience|
|Agility||Mastering the corners||+1 unit for 1 hour of dexterity training|
|Flair||Tunnel Mastery||+1 unit for 1 hour of flair training|
|Jumping||Mastery of overcoming obstacles||+1 unit for 1 hour of jumping ability training|
|Sustainability||The skill of overcoming ice crusts||+1 unit per 1 hour of stability training|
|Quickness||Mastering the swampy terrain||+1 unit for 1 hour of agility training|
If you buy a pig from the State Farm Nursery, all of its characteristics are zero (except for muscle mass, which is 10000)
In a newborn piglet, the initial value of each characteristic, except for experience, depends on the corresponding index of the boar-producer at the time of mating and on the inbreeding coefficient. Recall that each pig has its own maximum possible value of characteristics, and it is determined genetically. You can reach the maximum value of characteristics in the process of training.
The quality of the boar's diet affects his performance during the race - the lower the animal's satiety as a percentage of the optimal diet, the lower all his performance.
For your boar to have a sporting career, he must be put into "sport mode". To do this, turn on the appropriate setting above the image of the animal in the barn or pigsty. "Sport mode" is only available for boars 15 to 350 days old inclusive. Sows can't do sports.
Boars with the "sport mode" enabled can train their athletic performance, participate in races at the Boar Stadium and in the Three Little Pigs tournament.
An animal engaged in a sporting activity consumes the same amount of food as in a normal regimen.
Warning. When activating the "sport mode", the boar's readiness for mating is reset. He will not be able to procreate as long as the "sport mode" is on. In order for the animal to participate in mating again, the "sport mode" must be turned off. Ten days after shutting down on an optimal diet, the animal will recover and be ready to mate.
When "sport mode" is disabled, the boar's current muscle mass is reduced by 15% (but not below 10000)
High performance of your animal is the key to winning competitions.
Some boar characteristics (such as muscle mass, experience, agility, flair, jumping ability, stability, and agility) can be improved in the boar training arenas of the Boar Stadium. Training is available for animals 15 to 350 days old inclusive. To do this, it is necessary to put the boar into "sport mode". The owner of the trained pet (as well as other clones in the account) must have an endurance rating of at least 0.
The cost of one hour of training is assigned by a specific trainer. When you pay for a workout, trainers with a minimum price of one hour of training are automatically selected. If there are several coaches with the same minimum price, they are chosen at random.
One training session takes exactly one hour. During this time, one animal trains only one sport skill, at the pet owner's choice:
- One hour of dexterity training gives +1 dexterity.
- One hour of flair training gives +1 flair.
- 1 hour of jump training gives +1 jumping ability.
- One hour of stability training gives +1 stability.
- One hour of agility training gives +1 agility.
Also, any one workout gives +1 experience and +16 muscle mass.
The characteristics obtained will be credited after the full completion of the paid training. You can order any number of training sessions (hours) of any number of skills at once.
If your coach resigns or is fired during training, the training paid for will be completed.
Your current paid training schedule can be viewed by clicking on the corresponding icon next to the animal image.
During paid training, your boar can participate in races. You can only take part in one race at a time. Only the clone who created the race can cancel it. Boars who have joined the race may not leave the race until the end of the race, or until it is cancelled.
There is a button to the right of your pet's image called the "Indicators" button. The green color indicates the maximum possible value of this or that characteristic, which can be developed in this animal by training. The red color indicates the current value of the characteristic.
There are regular races at the Boar Stadium. Anyone who owns a boar athlete can create a run. You can also join any existing race where there are seats available. Participation can be either free of charge or for a fee.
Several times a week there is a state tournament "Three Little Pigs" with high prizes in gold.
Participating in any athletic race gives the boar +16 muscle mass.
