Selling NFT on the Marketplace

If you have gaming NFTs and decide to sell them, the best way to do it is to put them on the marketplace. There are many different marketplaces where NFTs created in the Solana blockchain can be sold. NFT administration will be sold on one of the leading and convenient marketplaces - Magic Eden - Marketplace Magic Eden (opens in a new tab).

We recommend players to use this marketplace to sell their NFT, because it is very simple and easy to use. Another advantage of working with the marketplace - in this way the transaction is carried out automatically, the buyer gets the NFT and the seller gets the cryptocurrency, which means that the risk of fraud is minimized. In this section we will show you with examples how to sell your NFTs.

When you go to the site of the marketplace, the first thing you need to attach your wallet to it. This is done in just a few clicks. If you use a wallet in a browser, it is sufficient to open the site of the Marketplace in the browser where the wallet is installed. If you use a cryptocurrency wallet on your phone, you must access the Marketplace site through the built-in browser of your wallet.

Click Connect Wallet (if you are logging in from the Phantom app browser on your phone, this button will be in the menu, which you can open by clicking on the three bars in the upper left corner of the site).

Then Verify Wallet.

And we sign the transaction in the wallet with the Approve button.

Now you have linked your wallet to the marketplace and can put your NFTs up for sale there. To do this, enter the name of the collection in the search box. For example, the Taurus Guard is the first collection in the world of the Golden Clone. **Check the name of the collection carefully, because cases of fraud are not excluded with fake collections, which may differ in the name by only 1 letter!

Clicking on this collection will take you to the sales page. Here you will see a little information about the collection, as well as all the lots for sale. At the top will be the cheapest lots at the moment (if not, you can put this sorting manually), and the higher the price, the lower the lot will go on the page.

All lots are priced in Solana cryptocurrency and sold for it only. Once you've evaluated the demand, you can bid your NFT at your desired price. To do this, go to collectibles by clicking on your wallet number on the marketplace site.

And go to the My Items tab.

There you will see all the collections that are in your wallet, as well as the number of NFTs in each collection. In the screenshot below, we see that the inventory has 1 collection (Taurus Guard) and it has 1 NFT (items 1).

To put your NFT up for sale, go to your collection and click on the put up for sale button, under the desired NFT. And in the window that appears on the right, enter the preferred price (in Solana cryptocurrency).

And after pressing List Now, confirm the transaction in your wallet using the Confirm button.

Remember that there is a 0.00001 commission when you put it up for sale. This is a gas fee and is not refundable, even if you cancel the lot. Also reserved 0.00223 Solana, which will be spent, in the case of a successful sale. In the case of cancellation of the lot - the reserve returns to your purse.

Selling with a warrant

Almost always on the marketplace there are orders to buy NFT. They are always located on the first lot or on the Collection Offers tab. In this tab you can see all the orders that are currently placed.

If you don't go to the Collection Offers tab, but just click on Sell now you can sell your NFTs at the highest price in the orders.

In the window that opens you can select the amount of NFTs you want to sell and click Accept offer, after which you will confirm the transaction and your NFTs will be sold on this order.

For sale from hand to hand

You can also sell your NFTs bypassing the marketplace and transferring your asset to the purse of the buyer. However, it is worth remembering the risks, because in this case, the seller or the buyer must be the first to send their cryptocurrency or NFT. In this case, it is not excluded fraud, especially if a stranger offers you in personal correspondence to buy your NFT, even at an inflated price. In case you hand over your NFT first and the cheater just disappears - the administration can't give you your assets back. **Be vigilant!

**Administration recommends conducting transactions only through well-known marketplaces.

However, if you do decide to sell your NFT hand-to-hand, you should only deal with people you know and trust.

Fee

When buying through the Magic Eden Marketplace, the main commission is paid by the buyer. The buyer pays 4.5% (3% royalty to the administration and 1.5% to the marketplace). The seller pays 0.5% commission to the marketplace.

For example, if you sell an NFT for 1 Solana, then after a successful sale you will receive 0.995 Solana.
